Strong burning smell coming stove.

Symptoms: Strong burning plastic smell coming from the pellet stove.

Solution: As a general rule of thumb, most people will burn their stove on high (level 5) either outside or in a well-ventilated area like a room with all of the windows open. This smell will usually dissipate in a day or two if this "burn-off" routine is done. 

Cause: Once you unbox your new ComfortBilt Pellet stove and burn it for the first time; you may notice a strong burning plastic/chemical smell emitting from the stove.

This is normal.

Your new stove is simply burning off the adhesives and the “newness” of the stove.
