Question: Is it possible to reduce the temperature of the stove to less than 61°F (16°C)?
Answer: The only way to make the desired temperature of your ComfortBilt pellet stove go below 61 degrees is to connect an external thermostat to the pellet stove. Be sure that the external thermostat is non-programmable. When the external thermostat is connected to the pellet stove's motherboard - it will take the place of the room temperature sensor and adjust the temperature according to the thermostat.

Using "Temp" Mode:
Our stoves have a built-in temperature sensor that can read the temperature of the room. While in the “Temperature” mode, the stove will automatically adjust the level of the stove to satisfy your desired temperature. You can also activate the ECO function so that the stove will automatically cycle on and off to better maintain this set temperature.
* Using ECO and/or Thermostat will put significant stress on the electronics of the stove and will wear out igniters much more quickly.
