Symptoms: Failed ignition. Pellets dropping but not burning. Failure to Ignite alert message. Igniter is not getting hot.
Solution: Test the igniter to see if it is getting hot or if it needs to be replaced.
Test the igniter by:
1: Holding the left arrow for 5 secs, while on the home screen, to enter the “Set Data” Menu
2: Scroll down to #6 - Diagnosis and press the left arrow again.
3: Press the left arrow until you highlight “Fire” and then press the up arrow.
4: The bubble/circle next to “fire” should be filled/shaded. If so, wait for 2.5 minutes and the igniter should be hot. If the igniter is not hot, this confirms it is faulty and needs to be replaced.
